UCD Rugby start Canadian summer tour with two wins

UCD Rugby 2019 tour to Canada - Crowe Ireland

UCD RFC has recently arrived in Canada for its summer tour. The 41-man touring party, one of the largest in the club’s history, is visiting Toronto, Kingston, St. Anne de Bellevue and Montreal and the tour will include fixtures against Ontario Under 23s and Montreal Irish.

The touring teams won their first two games:

  1. Toronto Barbarians vs. UCD 2nd XV
  2. Ontario Blues U-23 Developmental vs. UCD 1st XV

Founded in 1910, University College Dublin Rugby Football Club (UCD RFC) have an impressive track record in developing many players who have progressed to play representative and professional rugby. They currently have nine club players on the Irish squad and over a dozen representing their province.
