Crowe is delighted to be supporting the Carmichael Good Governance Awards by assisting in screening entries for their 2019 awards.

Crowe undertook detailed technical assessments of entries for the Annual Report award to examine compliance of their financial statements with relevant accounting standards such as the Statement of Recommended Practice for Charities (Charities SORP), Financial Reporting Standard 102 (FRS 102) and to ensure compliance with the Companies Acts (where applicable).

We were also tasked with reviewing the annual reports as a whole to report on the consistency of terminology, identify presentation and numerical inconsistencies and make general observations thereon.

Crowe has a wealth of knowledge in assisting the not-for-profit sector make the transition to SORP. We provide a complete service for the preparation of financial statements, ensuring full compliance with SORP and best practice in the sector. Our audit team offer guidance and support to organisations on ensuring compliance with the Charities Governance Code.

The Carmichael Good Governance Awards are taking place in the National Concert Hall on 14 November 2019.
