Assistant Audit Manager

Due to continued growth on an existing team we are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to work directly with an Audit Partner and Senior Manager with a view to developing their career. The role offers an excellent opportunity to someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Role

  • Responsibility for a varied and diverse portfolio of clients
  • Be a point of contact for clients and assist in providing general business advice to clients
  • Responsible for audit scheduling, planning, staffing and structure
  • Reviewing audit working papers  and finalising financial statements
  • Responsible for ensuring timely completion of projects and delivery of client service
  • Liaising with directors and partners
  • Assisting in managing a team of seniors and trainees
  • Monitoring the development of seniors and trainees and participation in the delivery of training courses to staff
  • General administration, including working capital management, billing and debtor collection

Requirements

  • Detailed practical knowledge of Irish GAAP/FRS 102 and Irish company law
  • Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing
  • Minimum two years post-qualification experience
  • Have prior experience within an audit team
  • Excellent team leading, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
